Red Cross teams from the Northeast Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region are carrying out a simulated disaster response in Noble County and Allen County, Indiana, on Wednesday, May 13.
During the exercise, disaster workers are practicing key response activities, including identifying and staffing shelters and confirming that essential supplies and equipment are ready for use.
The simulation allows Red Cross teams to assess their operational readiness, plans, policies, and procedures, with a strong focus on effective decision-making and coordination during a disaster response.
