Give with Meaning and Help Patients in Need
Festive activities and busy calendars this time of year can disrupt normal routines, leading to a drop in blood donation appointments.
Donating blood is one of the simplest things a person can do to help save a patient’s life. The hour it takes to give the gift of life can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical need. Patients are counting on lifesaving care now and all season long.
We invite you to roll up a sleeve at the annual ‘Give Thanks, Give Life’ blood drive.

How to donate blood
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
