The community is invited to donate blood at the Celebrate Freedom Blood Drive on Friday, July 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Southwest Chapter office located at 29 South Stockwell Road in Evansville.
The summer months can be a challenging time to collect blood donations, as many donors are busy with travel plans and seasonal events. In addition, the increased risk of severe weather can quickly disrupt blood-collection efforts. Donors of all blood types are encouraged to make an appointment to give blood to help ensure patients never have to wait for vital care.

Thank you to the team at WFIE 14 News for their partnership and support in raising awareness about the importance of blood donation.
As people get ready for summer adventures and big national festivities, the Red Cross and Warner Bros: Discovery Global Consumer Products are partnering to remind everyone of something important: the need for blood never goes on vacation. Individuals can join our squad to honor the country’s 250th anniversary and America’s spirit of service by giving blood: All who come to give through July 12 will receive a classic Red Cross x Looney Tunes T-shirt, while supplies last. See RedCrossBlood.org/LooneyTunes for details.
