On Sunday September 14^th, the Regional American Red Cross Green Team of Massachusetts collaborated for the first time with the Muddy Water Initiative and Boston Parks to clean the Muddy River and surrounding land to prevent pollution from pouring into the Charles River. What a way to bring in a new community partnership! Please enjoy all the photos from the Goats ‘N’ Boats event!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Caroline Reeves and the Muddy Water Initiative Team for providing all the supplies and paddleboats, goats for petting, free ice cream and water for all participants. You are truly superstars of the community. Thank you for leading us! It was such a pleasure to work with you, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together in future endeavors.

GREAT JOB Connie Luo, Green Team Lead of Greater Boston, communicating this invite to all Greater Boston volunteers. Congratulations on your first clean-up! This was our largest clean-up yet, with 59 sign-ups from Red Crossers of Greater Boston, and totaling about 100 participants from all groups!

SHOUT OUT to Bill McGoldrick and Lauren Scudder for gracing us with their sweet melodies, playing for us while we cleaned up the Muddy River and surrounding land. Passersby stopped by to ask questions, lured in by the beautiful music! Thank you for making the time to come out.
