NORTHERN MICHIGAN (April 17, 2026) – Nearly 50 American Red Cross disaster workers are supporting its disaster relief operation, which has been expanded to include parts of Southeast and Southwest Michigan that sustained damage from recent storms. Residents mpacted by flooding or the recent storms can call 1-800-RED CROSS.
The focus of the disaster operation is to provide shelter, food and recovery support to those in need. The Red Cross continues to work closely with local emergency management and community partners to help those who were affected and to assess community needs.
