The American Red Cross has once again earned the trust of people across the country, ranking No. 3 among the Most Trusted Nonprofits in the United States in Morning Consult’s 2026 rankings. The study measured public trust in 68 nonprofit organizations and found the Red Cross among the nation’s most respected and trusted humanitarian organizations.

Trust is at the heart of everything we do. In the Missouri-Arkansas Region, our staff and volunteers work hard every day to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Last year, we made an extraordinary impact across the Missouri-Arkansas Region, collecting 250,000 units of blood, responding to nearly 3,000 home fires, delivering 18,000 preparedness activities, training hundreds of community members, and contributing more than 200,000 volunteer hours.

The Morning Consult report found that the American Red Cross ranks among the top three most trusted nonprofits overall and maintains strong levels of trust across a wide range of demographic groups, including nonprofit donors, men, women, Millennials, Gen X, Boomers, and households across all income levels.
