Loida Haffener Salmond serves the Red Cross as the South Central and Southeast Oklahoma Executive Director based in Shawnee.
Salmond brings unique talents to the Red Cross in creating, managing and leading teams to maximize potential. She enjoys the challenge of a complex work environment and thrives on creating strategic business objectives with an operational framework that makes goals achievable.

Before joining the Red Cross, Salmond was a co-founder of Le Monde International School and used her skills to lead a team to create a language immersion school, one of the first of its kind in Oklahoma. She also served as the Director of Administration, Strategy and Business Operations for the University of Oklahoma Athletic Department playing a key role in communications between the athletic department and OU fans.
Salmond received her BS in Business Administration at the University of Tulsa and MS in Sports Administration from the University of New Mexico. She is married to Jeff Salmond and has four children, Taylor, Tyson, Tinley, and Troy and resides in Norman.
