Learning this new technique provides a high-energy activity that can take as little as 30 minutes and works to make everyone in your workplace and community safer.
• OSHA CPR/AED and First Aid training – Sudden cardiac arrest is still the leading cause of death in the United States, and one of the most likely causes of death in most work environments. Our training empowers everyday colleagues to save lives.
• Preparedness kit building - Disasters can strike suddenly, at anytime and anywhere but having a kit is one of the simplest ways to ensure you have the items needed if a disaster does occur, when time is of the essence. By hosting a Kit Build, employees learn about preparedness and build their own kits, better preparing your employees in the workplace and their families in your community.
• Company blood drives - Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and there’s only one source—generous blood donors. When you sponsor an on-site blood drive, you provide your employees with that irreplaceable sense that they are helping save lives.
• Blood kitting - Gather your employees to assemble materials to use in mobile blood drives. Employees can learn about how blood is processed, tested, and stored. They will also have the opportunity to tour the facility, and make a blood donation.
• Smoke alarm installations – Our Home Fire Safety Campaign offers one-day volunteer opportunities to canvass neighborhoods with a high incidence of house fires and injuries, where they will install smoke alarms as part of our nationwide effort to reduce house fire death and injury by 25% over the next five years.
