Disaster Action Team: Be part of a team that helps respond to provide 24-hour immediate support and assistance to individuals and families who have been impacted by a home fire or other local disaster.
Sheltering Service Associate: Make sure families don't face tough times alone by supporting shelter efforts this disaster season
Disaster Workforce Engagement Team Member: This volunteer opportunity works with our local disaster teams to help onboard, train and engage new volunteers. This position can be completely virtual, or you can come in to one of our offices. This opportunity involves connecting with new volunteers, walking them through onboarding steps and making them feel welcome. You must be comfortable calling people you don’t know, you must have basic computer skills, and reliable phone and internet connection. The time commitment is 5-10 hours a week and we provide all the necessary training. This is an excellent way to give back to your community!
*Note: This position has a 14-day commitment requirement.
Blood Donor Ambassador: Engage donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table.
Our organization is always looking for folks who are interested in supporting the administrative functions of this humanitarian organization. We have data entry, card writing, report running, mailings and many other tasks that you can do virtually or in person. We are looking for 5-10 hours a week commitment. We will provide all necessary training and onboarding
