“As a board member I am thrilled to step up and accept this leadership role with the Red Cross, especially during this critical time in history,” Barefoot said. “I am proud to represent the American Red Cross of Eastern South Carolina as they continue to support our military families, ensure blood is on hospital shelves and care for our neighbors during disasters, big and small.”
The Eastern Chapter of the Red Cross of South Carolina serves 7 counties (Horry, Florence, Darlington, Marlboro, Dillon, Chesterfield and Marion) and is made up of more than 340 active volunteers.
