Take Action

I want to get involved, how can I take action?

Join the IHL Action Campaign!

Learn how you can use IHL to make a difference in your community with the IHL Action Campaign.

  • Contact your local chapter to find out about their IHL-related projects.
  • Join or start a Red Cross Club at your school or college. Work directly with your local chapter and lead your peers by creating opportunities for them to provide service to your community through the American Red Cross. We can guide you through the process. Contact IHLYouth@redcross.org for more information.
  • Volunteer or become an intern for the American Red Cross. You can volunteer year-round, working on a variety of tasks to help the program reach more students like you. The Red Cross offers internship opportunities through our Summer Internship Program.
  • If you have any questions about these options, email IHLYouth@redcross.org.
  • Read what it’s like to intern at the Red Cross in Washington D.C.!
