BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (November 20, 2024) - The Mid-Alabama Chapter of the American Red Cross is proud to partner with Shipt to welcome a new Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) to our fleet. This vital addition will significantly enhance the Red Cross’s ability to respond swiftly and effectively to disasters, providing critical support to communities in need. We invite the public to join us for the vehicle’s official ribbon cutting on November 21, 2024 in front of Shipt Tower (420 20th Street North. Ste. 100).
The new vehicle, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources, will enable Red Cross volunteers and staff to deliver essential services such as food, water, and relief supplies to those affected by emergencies.
