The American Red Cross offers a selection of classes where you can learn and become certified in various lifesaving skills. Our nonprofit near you has both online and in-person options for CPR certification and CPR classes, first aid and water safety training, and child care training.
It’s easy to get involved with the Red Cross in Northeast Arkansas. Originally from Doniphan Missouri, Micheal Sullivan moved to Jonesboro to attended Arkansas State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Minor in Entrepreneurship in 2014. In 2020, he completed his Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. He has a passion for service and served as the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Jonesboro for the past nine year. Through his work, he has helped provide safe, decent, and affordable homeownership to sixteen families and thirteen homeowners in need of repair work.
Micheal serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of their Community Benefits Organization Committee. He is a founding board member of the Homeless Resource Center HUB in Jonesboro. As an active Jonesboro Young Professional Network member, Micheal serves on their board as President Elect and was Community Service chair in 2021 and 2022. In 2019, Micheal was recognized as one of the top three nonprofit executives in Arkansas by the Arkansas Business Magazine.
Outside of work and volunteering Micheal enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and two dogs.
