The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda S. Chapin of UL Solutions to its board of directors.
Linda S. Chapin is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for UL Solutions where she delivers a safe and engaging experience for UL Solutions employees and its customers. At UL Solutions, Chapin leads efforts in people strategy, employee experience, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), HR advisory, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and global HR services.
Prior to joining UL Solutions, Chapin served as Vice President of Human Resources at Johnson Controls International PLC for seven years, a multi-industrial products manufacturer and service provider, where she was responsible for leading a global team of HR professionals and developing the HR integration program for the merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco International.
Chapin currently serves on the Executives’ Club of Chicago Board of Advisors and the Chief Human Resources Officers Council II for The Conference Board.
Chapin earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, she earned a professional certificate in data and analytics from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
