The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago is proud to announce that Meredith O’Connor has joined its board of directors.
Meredith is an International Director and member of the JLL Executive Committee. In this capacity, she provides expertise through her broad experience in tenant representation, business and economic incentives, strategic consulting, financial and development services. In addition, Meredith serves as the client relationship manager for AON, Toyota Motor North America, and Alight Solutions’ real estate portfolio.
Prior to joining JLL, Meredith was the Managing Director at World Business Chicago, where she led the management of corporate relocation and expansion projects for domestic and globally based companies. In addition, she spent more than 10 years as Deputy Commissioner with the City of Chicago.

Meredith holds an MBA in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. She is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the JLL National Brokerage MVP Award, Crain’s “40 Under 40”, Woman of the Year – Athena Leadership Award, and the City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Award.
The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago’s volunteer board includes more than 30 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds, and it serves 7.7 million people in five counties across the Greater Chicago area.
