The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago is proud to announce that Hilary Chidi has joined its board of directors.
Hilary is Executive Vice President, Credit Risk and Chief Sustainability Officer at TransUnion. He is a seasoned executive with a strong track record in overseeing high-visibility/high-impact initiatives and groups within complex organizations, including Goldman Sachs and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
“Hilary brings invaluable expertise and knowledge of innovation, strategic vision, and building partnerships, all of which will benefit the American Red Cross,” said Celena Roldán, chief executive officer of the Red Cross of Illinois. “We look forward to welcoming Hilary to the board of directors.”
Hilary holds a Master of Liberal Arts and a Master of Science degrees from Harvard University and The London School of Economics (LSE), respectively, as well as an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
He also serves on the board of the MicroLoan Foundation and on the advisory board to Teach for America (Chicago and Northwest Indiana).
The volunteer board includes more than 30 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds for the Greater Chicago chapter that serves 7.7 million people in 5 counties.
