The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago is proud to announce the appointment of Deirdre Manna, Senior Vice President, Head of Government & Regulatory Relations for Zurich U.S. to its Board of Directors.
A respected leader in public policy and insurance industry advocacy, Manna brings more than two decades of experience advancing state and federal policy initiatives impacting the insurance sector. Her extensive leadership experience and commitment to community service will help support the Red Cross mission across Greater Chicago.
Manna joined Zurich North America following her role with the former Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), where she served as Vice President of Political Engagement and Regulatory Affairs. In that role, she led PCI’s political engagement division and managed regulatory and industry affairs nationwide, including oversight of professionals based in Washington, D.C.
Manna is also a former state insurance regulator, having served as Acting Director of the Illinois Division of Insurance. Throughout her career, Manna has held leadership roles with the American Insurance Association and a prominent national law firm focused on government relations and public policy.
Manna earned her bachelor’s degree from Drake University.
