The Southeast Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region is proud to announce the addition of two new board members: Amy Little and Melissa Baker.
Amy Little is the Chief Nursing Officer at IU Health Bedford and previously served as Director of Clinical Operations-Specialty Care Center/Cancer Services at Riley Hospital. Amy holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership in Health Systems from IUPUI and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College.
Amy was born and raised in Southern Indiana and now lives in Bloomington with her husband and three young adult children. Amy enjoys time with her family, traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. She is excited to join the Red Cross Southeast Chapter Board to expand how she can support, serve and care for surrounding communities.
Melissa Baker is the Director of Marketing and Fundraising for Reach For Youth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth mental health. With two decades of experience at organizations like the American Cancer Society and Scouting America, Melissa has a deep passion for nonprofit work and community impact.
Melissa lives in Franklin, Indiana, where she is restoring a charming Victorian fixer-upper. Committed to making a difference, she is excited to serve on the Red Cross Southeast Chapter Board to further her mission of helping others.
The American Red Cross of Southeast Indiana volunteer board includes civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds and serves over 1.1 million people across twenty-five counties. The board is led by Chairperson Danielle Nickerson. A full list of members can be found here.
