LaKricia is a passionate and experienced leader with nearly 20 years of dedication to community engagement, nonprofit leadership, and social impact. She has spent her career advancing initiatives that promote education, equity, and community development with a focus on collaboration and sustainable change. LaKricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a Master of Arts in International Relations, both from Webster University. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Women in Leadership Program at FOCUS St. Louis.
Most recently, LaKricia served as the Executive Director of Girls in the Know, where she led a team of employees, volunteers and a board of directors to expand programming, increase community engagement, and drive fundraising growth. Prior to her time at Girls in the Know, she served as the Director of Programs for The Little Bit Foundation, overseeing initiatives that supported education, systemic poverty reduction, and health and wellness programs in schools across the region. Her ability to build community relationships, mobilize resources, and inspire action has been a hallmark of her past leadership roles.
Beyond her professional work, LaKricia is an active mentor, advocate, and speaker who believes in empowering individuals to reach their full potential. When she’s not serving the community, she enjoys music and spending time with family and friends.
