The demand for Red Cross support at home, and around the country, has never been higher, as natural disasters are more frequent and destructive than ever before. Please join us for a volunteer information session to learn how you can serve Northern Ohio communities and travel to support national Red Cross relief efforts across the country.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Red Cross Volunteer or expanding your volunteer involvement. Please submit an RSVP to confirm your attendance at the Northern Ohio Spring into Action Virtual Information Session on Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00-7:00 PM. We’ll explore deployment to a national disaster relief operation and our most needed local volunteer positions; Donor Ambassador, Transportation Specialist in Cleveland, Akron & Toledo and Disaster Action Team volunteers are needed throughout Northern Ohio communities.
Attendees will also learn about Summer Youth Corps., a volunteer commitment for youth and young adults to support blood drives in your community this summer! Youth, ages 13-15, volunteer with a parent or guardian and youth, ages 16-24, volunteer independently. Summer Youth Corps. is a great way to give back, earn volunteer service hours and help others by supporting lifesaving blood donation. Summer Youth Corps Blood Donor Ambassador greet blood donors at arrival, help with check-in and departure, assist with the blood drive snack and beverage area and help ensure a friendly and positive blood donation experience.
