DALLAS – The American Red Cross DFW is currently working with property management and the local fire department to identify residents from more than 120 units impacted by a 4-alarm fire that occurred this evening at the Cortland Addison Circle Apartments on the 15000 block of Quorum Drive.
The Red Cross is offering assistance for those significantly impacted to help meet immediate needs, including accommodations, food, water, health and mental health support and more. Once immediate needs are met, Red Cross caseworkers will continue to work with each resident/family to provide additional assistance and help connect them with community resources to support their recovery further.
Following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Red Cross is continuing to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by wearing masks, social distancing and, when possible, using virtual means to provide assistance.
