Red Cross Clubs are officially recognized clubs on school campuses and throughout the community led by middle school, high school and college students who wish to serve as volunteers of the American Red Cross. Clubs participate in a variety of activities such as service projects and leadership training by planning events at their own schools and participating in Chapter sponsored activities.
Being a Red Cross Club Officer or member builds character and provides the tools and experience needed for attaining strong leadership, communication and community service skills. Additionally, Club members are encouraged to become permanent volunteers of the American Red Cross as they grow within the organization and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Resources for Red Cross Club Officers
Take action now and join your school’s Red Cross Club or start one if your school doesn’t have one yet. All of our clubs were started by youth just like you!
Through hundreds of Red Cross clubs across the country, youth and young adult volunteers support the American Red Cross mission to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Red Cross clubs are an extension of the local Red Cross providing students opportunities for training, collaborations, leadership development, and the ability to choose activities that address their community’s greatest needs. Red Cross Clubs empower students and faculty with Red Cross knowledge and life-saving skills to help prepare their schools and communities to respond to emergencies.
Each Red Cross Club Registration must be renewed annually in September. To renew a Red Cross club, your club must meet the minimum requirements and submit a Club Constitution.
You must be a Red Cross Youth Volunteer to start a new Red Cross Club. To get started, sign up as a Red Cross volunteer here, connect with your Club Liaison Officer and register your club.
