As the headquarters for the American Red Cross of Alaska, the Anchorage office accounts for 80% of our staff and volunteers, houses most of our emergency supplies and equipment, is the location of our training room, and acts as the Emergency Operations Center during times of disaster.
The office is comprised of outdated and inefficient workspaces which have over time become a barrier to communication, collaboration, and effective mission delivery. It’s been 24 years since the Anchorage
office has had any significant updates or improvements.
Renovating the Anchorage office will create efficient and appropriate spaces, increase capacity for communication, and increase staff and volunteer recruitment and retention. A successful outcome will
instill confidence in our clients, partners, volunteers, and the community in our ability to deliver on our
mission.
Renovations include new paint, flooring, office furniture, windows, and building signage.
