Sacramento, CA, August 24, 2019 – A 12-hour closure notice has been posted at the American Red Cross shelter, opened at Crosspointe Community Church in Redding, California, in response to the Mountain Fire.
All those who stayed at the shelter will meet with Red Cross volunteers to ensure they have a safe place to go before leaving the shelter.
People whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the fire are encouraged to call the Red Cross at 1-844-236-0153 to see if they qualify for financial assistance.
