The Red Cross Sierra-Delta Chapter is more than an organization — it’s a movement of nearly 300 volunteers. We are woven into the fabric of every community through disaster preparedness, response and recovery, lifesaving blood services, and community training programs. We care for the humanitarian needs of the U.S. military community through every phase of duty, both at home and around the world. But above all, we listen, we care, and we act—partnering with local organizations to reach those who need help the most. Serving more than 1.4 million people across Northern California, we mobilize community to serve community, driven by compassion and the belief that no one should face an emergency alone.
Provided relief and recovery support to more than 615 households impacted by local disasters.
Delivered an average of 16,000 critical community services to members of the military, veterans and their families annually.
Collected over 8,298 blood products
Trained nearly 33,000 people in first aid, CPR/AED, water safety, babysitting and other lifesaving skills.
