Ticket Purchase Deadline Next Week for American Red Cross Fundraiser: BASH 2021: The Boot Camp Challenge

Virtual event offers tools to prepare for disasters large and small, plus chance to win prizes and participate in a silent auction online.

SACRAMENTO (April 29, 2021) — The deadline to purchase tickets for the American Red Cross California Gold Country Region’s BASH 2021: The Boot Camp Challenge – “A Salute to Service with a Pledge to Prepare” is May 7, 2021.

Sign up at redcross.org/bash today! As in years past, The BASH remains a fundraising event, but this year we are also focused on helping individuals, families and businesses prepare for emergencies. Our goal is to educate 300+ community members and raise $150,000 in support of our critical, lifesaving work. We can do it with your support!

Three Ways to Participate:
Register for the Challenge: Buy a ticket by May 7 and receive four weeks of preparedness drills, a Boot Camp Care Package filled with Red Cross goodies, and exclusive participation in our virtual event on Saturday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Sponsor the Challenge: Purchase a sponsorship and ensure the Red Cross is able to be there for those in need. Sponsors receive premiere visibility while helping community members prepare for emergencies.

Financial contributions to BASH 2021 support the full mission of the American Red Cross, providing critical funding for programs and services throughout the 26 counties of the California Gold Country Region. Our regional presence ensures volunteers are available to provide local, lifesaving support through four lines of service:

Disaster Relief: Offering critical support from food and financial assistance to safe shelter when families lose everything.
Blood Services: Supporting the nation's blood supply by ensuring blood and blood products are available when needed.
Training: Equipping citizens to save lives through courses like first aid, CPR, and AED. Service to the Armed
Forces: Supporting military members, veterans, and their families through times of emergency.
