Preparedness Classes and Presentations

Trained Red Cross subject matter experts present basic preparedness information to get all members of your community group or organization Red Cross Ready.

The Central California Region, including Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura County

Los Angeles Region, which includes Kern and Los Angeles County

Southern California Region, including San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Imperial County

CPR and First Aid Classes

Certain communities are eligible for free or reduced-cost Red Cross Training and Certification programs. These classes get you trained and certified as quickly as possible while obtaining life-saving knowledge and skills designed to keep you prepared in the event of an emergency.

Become a Blood Services volunteer – there are many ways, besides giving blood, to support Red Cross blood drives and maintain your community’s supply of lifesaving blood

Join or Start a Red Cross Youth Club - Red Cross Clubs are an integral part of the American Red Cross, providing students opportunities for training, leadership development and the ability to choose activities that address their community’s greatest needs.
Become a Faith Based Affiliate - If your place of worship is located within Los Angeles County, you may be eligible to become an official Faith Based Affiliate of the American Red Cross by committing to help prepare your community. Learn More »
