Louise Borda joined the board of the American Red Cross of Riverside County in February 2021. Louise has supported several Red Cross initiatives, including blood drives at her place of employment. As a Riverside resident, and the daughter-in-law of two WWII veterans, Louise is also aware of the decades of work the Red Cross has done both globally and locally. Louise is the Senior Associate Dean for Educational Operations at the California University of Science and Medicine, and is an adjunct professor of Health Sciences at Cal State San Bernardino

Tempe Essell joined the American Red Cross of Riverside County board of directors in January 2018. In addition to serving as the Board Secretary, Tempe has also served as a volunteer in various other capacities, including Legislative Days and the Sound the Alarm campaign. She is passionate about the mission of the Red Cross and enjoys being part of an organization that does so much good for our communities. Tempe is a retired department store buyer and small business owner
