Each year, the American Red Cross responds to more than 62,000 disasters around the country. Whether it’s a wildfire or a home fire, a call for blood, or a call from a service member or military family in need, the Red Cross is there. All Red Cross assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
Members of our Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) invest in disaster relief, ensuring the Red Cross can pre-position supplies, secure shelters, maintain vehicles and train volunteers nationwide. This support also means we can respond around the clock and remain on hand to assist people as they recover and become better prepared for the next disaster.
Donors that commit $500,000 or more annually to Red Cross Disaster Relief are recognized as ADGP members and receive significant access to nationwide Red Cross benefits, information and decision-makers.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has been a partner with the American Red Cross for more than 16 years. The call of Yawa to ‘act on one’s belief’ has been a guiding cultural principal that San Manuel practices through its charitable giving program, leading them to generously act for the sake of others.
The American Red Cross Southern California Region thanks the Alletta Morris McBean Charitable Trust for their support of the Red Cross mission.
Circle K strives to be a good corporate citizen by improving the quality of life in the communities they serve through a host of local charities and organizations. It is through these relationships that they can help people, encourage families and children, and support the communities in which they do business.
Through SDG&E’s partnership with the American Red Cross, we are creating a sustainable, community-wide network that encourages preparedness, carries out response and recovery training, and supports resiliency in the face of disaster. SDG&E’s collaboration with the American Red Cross helps San Diegans prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters and emergencies.
The American Red Cross has prevented and alleviated suffering, one day at a time, since its founding in 1881. In this period, we have served millions of people during their most desperate times. Wherever they were, they had one thing in common. They knew where to turn when disaster struck. They knew that—365 days a year—the American Red Cross was ready to help.
Ready 365 Giving Program members stand with the Red Cross as we provide lifesaving services. Multiple giving levels through the Ready 365 Giving Program are available. Each level provides visible regional recognition through high-traffic communications channels and spotlights each company as a dedicated Red Cross donor.
