Teri Pollitt has been a committed donor to the American Red Cross for over thirty years.  Teri is also a passionate blood donor and a Tiffany Circle National Council member.  This distinguished group oversees the strategy and direction for the Tiffany Circle, a group of female philanthropic leaders. In the fall of 2023, she co-chaired the Tiffany Circle Summit in Washington, D.C. where record-breaking collective fundraising efforts supported the American Red Cross Sickle Cell Initiative. In the Spring of 2024, she received the American Red Cross Harriman Award for Distinguished Volunteer service, recognizing extraordinary contributions beyond local communities. Teri is now honored to serve as the Board Chair of the San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter.

Teri has over forty years of volunteer service with non-profits at both the local and national levels. Prior to her involvement with the Red Cross, Teri was a financial executive with an investment counsel firm where she retired as a Vice President of Equity Research. Teri earned a BA in Psychology from the University of California Riverside, an MBA from the University of Southern California, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential. When she is not volunteering, Teri and her husband enjoy visiting family and international travel.

Marither S. Chuidian is a Senior Medical Director at REGENXBIO. Marither is a physician leader and executive with 25 years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry and clinical practice in the fields of ophthalmology, clinical neurosciences, and other therapeutic areas. Her expertise spans drug development and life cycle management leading strategy, cross functional and stakeholder management and building organizations. 

Marither is devoted to advancing global health and improving patients’ lives through equitable healthcare access. When she’s not working or volunteering, Marither enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones

Paula Downey is Board Secretary, and Philanthropy Committee and Tiffany Circle member for the American Red Cross of San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Prior to her involvement with the Red Cross, Paula was President & CEO of CSAA Insurance Group (an AAA insurer) headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. CSAA was recognized as one of the 50 most community-minded companies by Points of Light and was a corporate partner with the Bay Area Red Cross. In 2014, Paula was honored as Humanitarian of the Year at the Bay Area Red Cross Gala. Paula has served on profit and non-profit boards including the Bay Area Council and the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy. She moved to San Diego in 2019 to be near her family.

Paula has an MBA from the University of Michigan and enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling and spending time with her family.
