Each year, the American Red Cross responds to more than 62,000 disasters around the country. Whether it’s a wildfire or a home fire, a call for blood, or a call from a service member or military family in need, the Red Cross is there. All Red Cross assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
Members of our Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) invest in disaster relief, ensuring the Red Cross can pre-position supplies, secure shelters, maintain vehicles and train volunteers nationwide. This support also means we can respond around the clock and remain on hand to assist people as they recover and become better prepared for the next disaster.
Donors that commit $500,000 or more annually to Red Cross Disaster Relief are recognized as ADGP members and receive significant access to nationwide Red Cross benefits, information and decision-makers.
