The American Red Cross continues to support residents as they clean up after Hurricane Dorian.  Across the Carolinas, more than 265 homes were destroyed or majorly damaged.

Disaster responders are continuing to support cleanup efforts by providing warm meals and relief supplies. In the weeks and months to come, the Red Cross will be there to support those affected on their path to recovery.

The Red Cross has been on the ground supporting families in the Southeast affected by Hurricane Dorian since late August.

What We've Done So Far:

• 3,000 Red Cross disaster responders from across the country have worked with kindness and compassion to support people in threatened communities across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
• To date*, the American Red Cross and our community partners have provided over 38,300 overnight stays in evacuation shelters
• With the help of our partners, the Red Cross has served more than 173,900 meals and snacks.
• Volunteer mental health and health services professionals have provided 12,200 contacts for support and care for those affected by Hurricane Dorian.
• 20,700 relief supplies have been distributed.
• More than 32.5 million weather alerts related to Dorian have been sent through Red Cross mobile apps since August 28.
