$750,000 — The donor center is bustling with activity 7 days a week as volunteer donors roll up their sleeves to donate blood to help others. The center has a bright and inviting feel to enhance the donor experience, with 13 donor beds – and room for more when needed - to comfortably accommodate blood and platelet donors every day.

$500,000 — One of our five specialized laboratories, which includes the only National Molecular Lab in the country, a Histocompatibility lab, Manufacturing lab, Quality Control lab and Sickle Cell lab.

Already Donated — Main public, staff and donor entrance of the building with access to the three donation centers, humanitarian offices, conference rooms and the atrium.

$500,000 — High-tech space to train staff on emerging technologies in both biomedical and humanitarian services.

$450,000 — Separate donor centers for Clinical Apheresis and American Red Cross Cell and Gene Therapy Solutions.

$150,000 — High visibility area within the donor center where blood donors enjoy refreshments as they reenergize after donating. This area is stocked with snacks and beverages, while volunteers help ensure a positive and refreshing post-donation experience.

Already Donated — Waiting room and reception area for blood donors as they begin their donation experience.

$150,000 — A key step in the blood donation process is when the units are carefully tagged prior to transporting. Tagging allows the Red Cross to use innovative inventory control methods to ensure the right balance of blood products and types are available to meet the needs of hospitals and patients.

$150,000 — Storage area for American Red Cross Disaster Relief supplies to be used through Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. Supplies include things like cots, blankets, comfort kits and other hygiene items, shelter supplies, snacks, water and more.

$150,000 — Large meeting and collaboration space for up to 75 people. Room is equipped with advanced technology to connect and meet virtually with constituents all over the world. The Constitution Conference Room will be used for things like Board of Directors meetings, Red Cross staff and volunteer training, headquarters for local Disaster Relief Operations as well as meetings with community partners and organizations.

$100,000 — Medium-sized conference rooms for meetings and trainings up to 50 people, equipped with advanced technology for group meetings with key stakeholders anywhere in the country or around the world. The rooms will be home to open-to-the-public Training Services classes, where participants learn lifesaving skills such as CPR, AED, first aid and more.

$75,000 — Office space and meeting areas for small groups to meet virtually with other teams from around the region and country. Rooms are equipped with advanced technology from cameras and microphones to screens.

$50,000 — Area where volunteer drivers gather to pick up blood products to be delivered to area hospitals.

$50,000 — Space for small staff and volunteer groups to meet and collaborate and is also used for meetings with disaster survivors, financial donors and other community partners and key stakeholders.

$25,000 — Small, private spaces for staff and volunteers to conduct conference calls and interviews, as well as for Red Cross staff to meet with financial donors and key stakeholders.

$25,000 — The final stop prior to donating blood happens in these private rooms where donors complete a health history questionnaire and undergo a mini-physical to ascertain their current health.
