After such a great time last year we’re thrilled to announce the return of Red Ball on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 7 p.m. to midnight. This great gala for a great cause will once again be held at Vie in Philadelphia.

The lifesaving work of the American Red Cross never stops, and we need your support now more than ever. Red Ball helps the Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania respond to disasters and provide care and comfort to the families affected.

Red Ball 2023 is back on Broad Street in the heart of Philadelphia, between Center City and Fairmount. All our guests raved about the place last year, so we’ll once again host Red Ball at Vie, located at 600 N. Broad Street, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, starting at 7 p.m. Valet parking is complimentary.

Red Ball is a reception style gala. It’s elegance without the long sit-down dinner! Guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and fabulous food stations including a chilled seafood bar and top shelf open bar throughout the evening. Other food station themes include East Asian, Mediterranean and Mexican, as well as a surf-n-turf slider station and fry bar. The evening will finish with a dessert station and espresso bar.

Red Ball will have one of the best dance bands out there courtesy of CTO Artists to keep the dance floor jumping all night. In addition, the photo booth will be back along with other fun and exciting features like the silent auction and more!

Katie Fehlinger is back as host and emcee for Red Ball for the third straight year. The author and former CBS3 weather anchor will walk Red Ball guests through the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross and share the story of the Red Cross House in Philadelphia, and how vital a piece of the community it is. We’ll need your support again to keep the mission going another year. You can read more about Katie here.

Red Ball helps fund the Red Cross disaster response throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides comfort after disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members, veterans and their families.

Your support of Red Ball also provides funding for the operation of the Red Cross House – The Center for Disaster Recovery – in Philadelphia. The Red Cross House provides housing and recovery services for disaster survivors in our region. Over the past two decades, the Red Cross House has provided a safe place to stay, hot meals and support services to thousands of families rebuilding their lives after a disaster.
