Located in the historic Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, the Please Touch Museum is Philadelphia’s premier children’s museum, dedicated to hands-on learning through play. Memorial Hall, the museum’s home since 2008, is a stunning architectural landmark built for the 1876 Centennial Exposition. The museum’s exhibits span over 40,000 square feet and are designed to engage children in interactive experiences that promote creativity, collaboration, and discovery.

Red Ball is a reception style gala. It’s elegance without the long sit-down dinner! Guests enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and fabulous themed food stations and top shelf open bar throughout the evening. Food station themes vary from year to year and will be announced soon. The evening finishes with a dessert station and coffee bar.

Red Ball has live music to keep the dance floor busy all night. In addition, there’s a photo booth, red carpet-style photos at the step and repeat and a silent auction including an art auction. But wait, there’s more! Back by popular demand is our outdoor cigar lounge!  

Every day, the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania delivers help and hope during people’s darkest hours. Powered by dedicated volunteers and generous supporters like you, we are there for nearly every imaginable crisis. From the family whose home burns in a fire and is given shelter, food and comfort, to the accident victim who receives lifesaving blood at a local hospital, to the deployed military hero who is reconnected with family members in crisis, to a neighbor in cardiac arrest who receives lifesaving CPR, we’re there when people need us most.
