Red Cross volunteers put compassion into action every day. Join our Disaster Action Team (DAT) to be part of the world’s largest humanitarian organization, right here in your community.
This multi-day offering of courses is designed to support your American Red Cross volunteer career development. If you are a new volunteer, completing the entire academy will certify you as a fully trained DAT responder. If you are a longtime volunteer, the academy provides an opportunity to brush up on your skills and make new friends!

Thursday, February 22, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - DAT Workshop
Friday, February 23, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Psychological First Aid
Saturday, February 24, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Casework and Sheltering
Saturday, February 24, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Graduation and potluck
