SACRAMENTO, CA (November 10, 2021) – The American Red Cross California Gold Country Region is pleased to announce that in honor of Veterans Day 2021, Sutter Health will once again make a community benefit donation on behalf of its hospitals, physicians and employees in support of Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF).
The donation will support the different programs under the SAF including case management, outreach and briefings, and the Resiliency and Reconnection Workshops that assist military families, service members and veterans across Sutter Health’s Northern California service area.
As part of its not-for-profit mission, Sutter Health invests millions of dollars back into the communities it serves. Through these investments and community partnerships, Sutter Health is providing and preserving vital programs and services, thereby improving the health and well-being of communities, families and patients.
“We are so grateful to Sutter Health for its continued generosity in supporting Service to the Armed Forces,” said Gary Strong, American Red Cross California Gold Country Region Chief Executive. “This donation will go a long way in assisting service members, veterans and their families.”
