Andrew Behnke is General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont and also Vice President of their property management company since 2006. He has been a hospitality executive for over 25 years.
Andrew was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has lived in Georgia, Washington D.C. and Fairbanks, Alaska. He is a decorated veteran, having served nine years in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War Era. Andrew received his education from the University of Minnesota, Georgetown University and Wayland Baptist University.
Andrew is a strong community and business advocate in the region. He belongs to four chambers of commerce and has served as Board Chair for the Claremont and Upland Chambers. Andrew is an active business advocate and has a firm belief that business has an obligation to make the community a better one for all. He has held numerous blood drives for the American Red Cross and was a recipient of a Red Cross emergency message while in the military. Andrew and his wife, Sonja, currently reside in Upland.
Dora Mejia, PsyD, is an Emergency Management and Business Continuity Manager at California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB). Dr. Mejia is a double graduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Rehab Counseling from CSUSB. She serves as an advisor, change agent, and subject matter expert in crisis management, disaster response, and recovery, with over 20 years of experience in the Emergency Management field responding to natural and manmade disasters.
Michael A. Ramirez currently serves as a Business Resiliency Advisor with Southern California Edison (SCE). He has been drawn to disaster response and recovery since his mid-teens and has responded to numerous disasters in his former roles with the San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services and Orange County Health Care Agency. Michael is committed to building an organization that reflects all communities served by the American Red Cross.
Michael is a leader in the LGBTQIA+ community and serves on the Board of Directors with the Pomona (Valley) Pride Center. He also serves in his church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a running enthusiast and enjoys long walks with his dogs.
