Fort Lauderdale, Fla., (October 30, 2023) - The Broward County Chapter of the American Red Cross hosted its Dine & Dock Celebrity/CEO & Experience Auction and 2023 Humanitarian Awards presented by Amtrak on Wednesday, October 25 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel. JM Family Enterprises, Inc., Assistant Fire Chief/Emergency Manager for the City of Fort Lauderdale Jermaine Frazier and The Haller Foundation were presented with the 2023 Humanitarian Award, as they embody the spirit of the Red Cross and have shown their dedication to the organization’s mission through their civic engagement and generous community support.
This year’s Dine & Dock event was kicked off with an exclusive VIP reception. The reception was hosted by Ryder System, Inc. where guests received the opportunity to mix and mingle with VIPs, celebrities, and CEOs in attendance, followed by a Welcome Reception hosted by Keiser University and JM Family Enterprises, Inc.
This annual signature event is the single largest fundraising event for the Broward County Red Cross and featured breathtaking views, beverages provided by Republic National Distributing Company, food stations and networking opportunities. This year’s event was chaired by Cindy Imperato and Liz Caldwell, who presented the 2023 honorees with their prestigious Humanitarian Awards.

Dine & Dock 2023 raised $297,000 for Red Cross disaster preparedness, as well as its response and recovery programs and services, continuing its tradition and commitment to Broward County.
All proceeds are put forth the American Red Cross and are used for supporting their response to disasters ranging from home fires affecting a single family to hurricanes affecting tens of thousands. In response to these emergencies, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, comfort and more to assist families and entire communities in their time of need.
