Fort Myers, Fla., March 5, 2018 —This Friday, March 9, the American Red Cross Florida’s Southern Gulf Chapter will host its first Centennial Celebration & Gala, chaired by Elizabeth Star.

The Gala will honor founders and celebrate 100 years of service in the community at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fla.
\n\n\n\n
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception dinner followed by an exceptional presentation showcasing the impact the Red Cross has made in the community in the last century.

“It is with great pride that we honor the work of the Red Cross volunteers and personnel in our community,” said Star, Committee Chair. “We are thankful for the Red Cross’ dedication to serving the Southern Gulf region.”

For a century the Red Cross has been there for the Southern Gulf Region and will continue to be there to help the community in times of need. Florida’s Southern Gulf Chapter currently serves nearly 1 million residents in Collier, Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties.
