WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 27, 2018) – The American Red Cross Palm Beach and Martin County Chapter has appointed Emily Pantelides, Christophe Dagassan and Jeffrey H. Alderton to its Board of Directors.
For over 10 years, Emily Pantelides worked as an award-winning news anchor and reporter for several TV stations across the nation covering everything from the Olympic games to breaking news. She spent her last six years in news at WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, serving as the station’s main morning anchor. She went on to open her public relations and consulting company, Pantelides PR & Consulting, and has earned numerous accolades including “Best Up and Coming PR Firm” by Florida Weekly and “Top 10 PR Firms in West Palm Beach” by Expertise in 2017 and 2018. Pantiledes is heavily involved in the Palm Beach County community and is currently serving on numerous non-profit boards and committees. Emily also hosts two television shows on CBS12, Spotlight on Business and Extraordinary People and writes "Emily's Picks" for Palm Beach Illustrated magazine.
Christophe Dagassan is the Director of Leisure Sales & Global Travel Partnerships at The Breakers Palm Beach. He was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland, and graduated from the Lausanne School of Hotel Management. After arriving in the U.S. in 1991 and settling in South Florida, Dagassan joined The Breakers and has had a rewarding 25-year tenure with a mission to drive new customer acquisition and repeat business from vacation travelers, and bolster relationships with the global travel industry. Dagassan’s active leadership role extends to the Palm Beach community. His other volunteer engagements include the Boys & Girls Club of America, Habitat for Humanity and many more charities the resort supports, and he also serves on committees for Discover the Palm Beaches.
Jeffrey Alderton is a Senior Principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP, specializing in business reorganization. He has been a Human Capital National Industry Leader and served on the Executive and Management Committees. He has worked nationally and globally in his previous role as the Europe/Middle East/Africa Leader for the Organization Strategies Practice. Jeff is currently also a Board member of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach Opera, the Stone Harbor Sanctuary and the Wetlands. He is also a member of numerous Palm Beach organizations.
