VERO BEACH, Fla. (July 10, 2019) – Florida’s Coast to Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross has named Taylor Hoskins as the new Chair of its Board of Directors.
Attorney Taylor Hoskins is a lifelong and fifth generation resident of St. Lucie County. She graduated from Lincoln Park Academy High School and obtained her undergraduate degree from Stetson University in 2012.
Three years later, Hoskins received her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law and a Master of Laws degree in Trial Advocacy from Stetson University College of Law, which was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as first in the nation for trial advocacy. Hoskins specialized law degree signifies her advanced, innovative and multinational legal training.
During her time in law school, Hoskins was a member of the prestigious International Legal Honor Society Phi Delta Phi and earned prestigious Book Awards for both Criminal Procedure and Personal Injury. After admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015, Attorney Hoskins focused her career in personal injury law and brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and legal heritage to her practice.
Attorney Hoskins is a member of the St. Lucie County Bar Association, where she has served as treasurer, secretary, vice president, and president, and a member of the Bar Associations of Indian River County and Port St. Lucie. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Treasure Coast Justice Association where she has served as secretary, treasurer, vice president, and is president-elect.
A community activist, Hoskins is board chairman for Florida’s Coast to Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross, a member of Impact 100 St. Lucie, and serves on the leadership board of the United Way of St. Lucie County's Women United. In addition, she is the secretary for the St. Lucie County Chapter’s Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
