[SHREVEPORT, La.] March 9, 2026 — The American Red Cross is calling on tennis players of all skill levels to "swing big" for a cause as the second annual Rally for Relief tennis tournament presented by Bayou Outdoor Supercenter and Swepco returns to the Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club, March 20–22, 2026.
Building on the momentum of last year’s event, which earned the distinguished United States Tennis Association of Louisiana “Charity Tournament of the Year” award, the tournament continues to exemplify the power of sport to unite our community in support of vital Red Cross services.
The three-day event is open to the entire community, no club membership is required to participate. Beyond the competitive matches, the weekend features high-energy social events, including a Pro Exhibition Friday night, the signature Hurricane Party, and a chance to win one of more than 100 prizes. This year’s headlining prizes are 2 CTTW Princess Cut Diamond Studs valued at over $2500 generously donated by Bass’ Fine Jewlery, and beach trip giveaway donated by Thrash Construction Services.
"The Rally for Relief is a highlight of the Shreveport sports calendar because it combines top-tier competition with a deep commitment to our community," said Karen McCoy, Executive Director of the American Red Cross in North Louisiana. "We are incredibly grateful to our players, and to our sponsors Bayou Outdoor Supercenter, Bass Fine Jewlery, Swepco, and Thrash Construction Services, whose support helps turn every swing on the court into help for disaster survivors.”
The tournament weekend is anchored by high-energy social traditions, headlined by the signature Hurricane Party on Friday evening. A major highlight is Saturday night's 'Hit for Prizes' event, where participants can compete for more than 100 premier items, including $1,000 in cash, diamond earrings, and an exclusive beach getaway. All proceeds from the tournament support the Red Cross’ mission to provide local disaster relief by offering a lifeline of food, shelter, and emotional support to neighbors in need.
