“It’s always great to partner with organizations and businesses that are committed to helping save lives.”
Several downtown businesses and organizations are teaming up to host the 2nd annual Give A Pint-Get A Pint Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, May 5th. Organizers are hoping the drive will exceed last year’s event to become the largest Great Falls community blood drive in an effort to save hundreds of lives.
The Great Falls Chamber of Commerce, Great Falls Wedding and Event Center, Meadow Gold Dairy, Celtic Cowboy, Great Falls Downtown Association, and Cherry Creek Radio will join forces with American Red Cross in an effort to draw at least 75 donors. The drive is open to the public. Call 406-403-0956 to schedule your appointment today. The public can also schedule an appointment by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and entering sponsor code “greatfalls”.
“Great Falls Chamber is proud to be a part of this effort to help save lives in Montana,” said Shane Etzwiler, Great Falls Chamber President. “You never know when you may need blood because of a short-term emergency or a long-term illness. The American Red Cross is a community resource that we are proud to support.”
“The Great Falls Wedding and Event Center is proud to partner with Red Cross for this downtown blood drive because it’s the perfect location for an event like this,” said Dave Snuggs, Facilities Director for the Great Falls Wedding and Event Center.
“It’s always great to partner with organizations and businesses that are committed to helping save lives,” said Diane Wright, Executive Director of American Red Cross of Montana. “Their support in spreading the word about the importance of a blood donation to their employees and the community is invaluable to our mission to get blood to patients who need it.”
