A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, Amber Kendall relocated from British Columbia to make Idaho home.
Before moving south, Amber worked for Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, as director of development, supporting the major gift fundraising needs of the faculty of Science, School of Nursing and Department of Athletics.
Passionate about helping others, Amber also spent three years with Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in Vancouver, BC, where she managed donor relations and raised gifts for programs that benefited terminally ill children and their families.
She ran a successful public relations agency and her other past employers include the world’s first visitors and convention bureau, in Detroit, as well as the Canadian Cancer Society in Ontario
Over the last two decades, Amber has proven herself as an enthusiastic and accomplished fundraising and communications professional. In addition to development work, her career has spanned media and community relations, planning and overseeing special events, writing ad copy, planning and implementing direct mail campaigns, creating sponsorship packages and donor recognition programs, writing executive speeches and more.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys travel adventures both near and far.
