When you give to the American Red Cross, you help our community's most vulnerable and most needy. An average of 90 cents of every dollar the Red Cross spends is invested in delivering care and comfort to those in need. Donations are used to provide food shelter, emotional support and other assistance, as well as the vehicles, warehouses and people that make relief possible. All of our expenses are fully transparent and can be reviewed here.

Ways to Donate Money
The American Red Cross is funded entirely by the generosity of donors like you. Your gift will support the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross, whether it's responding to a disaster, collecting lifesaving blood, teaching disaster preparedness and other skills that can save a life, or assisting our military members and their families.
A hot meal delivered to victims after a disaster, shelter when there is nowhere else to turn, an emergency message delivered to a member of the Armed Forces from their family – these are just some of the ways your gift can help someone in need.
