Providing Disaster Relief and Comfort: About every 10 minutes, the Red Cross responds to a disaster in local communities.
Delivering Lifesaving Blood: The Red Cross needs to collect more than 13,000 blood donations and about 3,000 platelet donations every day to serve hospital patients.
Serving Those Who Serve our Nation: Every day, the Red Cross provides about 173 emergency communications cases to members of the military, veterans and their families.
Giving Hope Worldwide: On average, the American Red Cross helps reconnect three families every day around the world who have been separated by war, disaster or migration.
Training Caregivers and Lifesavers: On average, about 16,000 people receive lifesaving Red Cross training in first aid, water safety and other skills every day.

Q: When will my credit card first be charged?
A: Your credit card will be charged on the day you start your monthly donation and on the same day of each following month. Ex: If you start your donation on the 15th of the month your donation will run on the 15th of each following month.
Q: What if I need to make changes to my giving?
A: You can make changes anytime to your monthly gift. If you need to update your payment method, pause, cancel or adjust your monthly gift amount you can do so by accessing My Account or calling our Red Cross Donor Care at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) and selecting option 2.
Q: What confirmation or receipts will I receive for tax purposes?
A: You will receive an initial email receipt after your first monthly donation and an annual statement in January that summarizes your giving for the previous year.
