Title Financial Corporation and its employees and underwriters at First American Title Co. and Old Republic Title have donated more than $20,000 to help people affected by Montana’s wildfires. Much of that money going to a large family in Libby who lost their home to wildfire.
Stevi Phillips, manager of First American Title's Great Falls office, presented a check to the American Red Cross in October for more than $10,000.
We are so grateful for this generous support of our Montana wildfire relief operations,” said Diane Wright, executive director of the American Red Cross of Montana.
The American Red Cross of Montana opened 19 wildfire shelters across the state since July, including in communities such as Hays, Eureka, Plains, Roundup, Wolf Creek and Missoula. Red Cross provided 188 overnight shelter stays and served nearly 2,000 meals and snacks to Montana families. Sixteen primary homes were lost in the fires, and more than 1.2 million acres burned.
