Montana Red Cross is assisting families displaced by the Columbia Falls apartment complex fire.
The Montana Red Cross is providing assistance to more than 20 people displaced by an apartment complex fire in Columbia Falls.
Red Cross volunteer responders are speaking with clients and helping them on their road to recovery. That includes providing families with food and housing assistance, helping them replace medications lost in the fire and connecting them with mental health resources.
The August 2 fire destroyed the nine-unit apartment complex.
Last year, the Montana Red Cross provided food, shelter and support to more than 500 people following a disaster, most of them home and apartment fires.
