Regional Disaster Program Manager Mallory Santa Cruz gives a virtual preparedness demonstration.
The American Red Cross and Rimini Street’s partnership began in the middle of COVID. As the world went digital, Rimini Street—a technology company based in Las Vegas—reached out to the Red Cross about mental health and CPR/First Aid/AED for their workforce.
"The health and wellness of our valued colleagues is paramount at Rimini Street. Partnering with Red Cross on safety training and preparedness programs helps us deliver educational, timely information to our colleagues in this ever-changing world while supporting our shared mission to protect and empower our local community," said Janet Ravin, Chair of the Rimini Street Foundation.
These safety and preparedness classes are held free of charge, and as a way to give back, Rimini Street generously donated $10,000 to forward the life-saving work the Red Cross carries out across the Valley on a daily basis.
“We are so grateful to Rimini Street for supporting the Red Cross. Their donation will make an invaluable contribution to our ability to respond to disasters in southern Nevada,” said Alan Diskin, executive director of the Southern Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross.
