The American Red Cross of Nevada’s multi-faceted Youth and Young Adult program comprises of both Red Cross Clubs organized at high schools, as well as colleges and universities, and opportunities for individual volunteering in many of the Red Cross Lines of Service.
Being a Red Cross Youth and Young Adult member builds character and provides the tools and experience needed for attaining strong leadership, communication, and community service skills, all while working to accomplish the Red Cross mission.
All Youth and Young Adult volunteers must register online, and for those under the age of 18, must receive consent from their parent or guardian before starting their journey with the organization.
Red Cross Clubs are officially recognized organizations on school campuses led by students. Members engage in activities such as disaster preparedness training, fund-raising drives, hosting blood drives, and volunteering at major events (such as Sound the Alarm). Clubs are run by and for the students with minimal adult involvement, encouraging your creativity to develop new ideas and programs while building leadership and community service skills.
